I bought a touch up from paints4u ( 30ml ) which cost twice that. I've got quite a few chips that need attention. I had a try with it but I've not got the skill to do a good job. Just interested to see whether this does what it says on the tin.

It doesn't matter if the colour doesn't match on your car Ben, it doesn't know wether it's blue, green or purple anyway

spray cans just don`t work , the match is all ways poor the finish is well spray can like , there`s only one way to spray and thats with a gun , thats a spray gun , its like getting a brick layer to fit central heating , it just won`t work , spray cans are for chavs, vauxhall corsa`s and graffiti

its ok on a fridge , but not on a car , and not on a 75 or zt /t
thing that gets me is we spend £££££££££ on our cars ie cam belts on a kv6 buying the best oils and parts etc etc but when it comes to paint work / body work why oh why do people always think that a spray can is the answer ?????

Default paintwork.

I did say in my first post they dont match.... bodyshops and car plants dont spend millions on equitment for nothing.... these colours have to be applied with the right air pressures ie , around 50 psi , and a spray can aint that is it.... if you apply at low pressures you will get a change in colour as the paint has not atomised properly. " trying to keep this simple... also there are many different shades of colour normally around six per colour , this is due to pigment change in tinters from adding fresh drums of paint at the factory ... they can paint lets say 1000 cars , then change drums of paint for fresh... the next 1000 will be a different shade.. so the paint companys have to go out in the field and formulate colours for these cars .. thats why you get so many shades in colour . wish painting was as easy as buying a spray can it would make my job stress free, and save paint companys millions... some colours i have worked on there has been as many as 13 shades !!! leave it to the people that no what they are doing , let them have the stress rather than you.. you no it makes sence.... this paint to buy for a bodyshop, can be up to £ 300 a litre ,and they selling it in a can for 20 quid , mmmmmm its going to be fantastic .........
