Too young for a Spectrum?

What about eight tracks, sandwich toasters, super eight ,betamax, Moonshine flavoured Um bongo (Blue, and probably terrible for you).....??

I always wonder where BX53WPL is but...it's not going to be the car I owned now. You should never revisit past pleasures they say.(Whoever "they" are)

We all have that 'past love' that we romanticize about... and, as Messenger observes, cannot fully recreate even if we could revisit. It is character building (or so they say)!

thomas, in fairness you are probably best remembering it how it was.

Not meaning to make you cry again but chances are its being ragged about a tesco metro / DIY store car park somewhere sporting neon underlighting and dressed with a rediculous amount of stickers from the latest max power magazine.

On the other hand it could be getting driven gracefully along some stunning countryside and be well cared for. hmm, now if i was a betting man....

On another note - spectrum?! it was all about the commodore 64 im afraid with its tape deck or the '5 1/4 inch floppy disc drive that in itself required a semi detached house to store it. not exactly compact

but on the plus side copying games only required the technological wonder of a twin deck cassette player

Im currently on the hunt for the 1.4 as mentioned in another thread, after driving quite a few, I can see how these cars as so popular, especially to the younger chaps.

That being said, by eck, there are some thrashed examples out there, I have seen 5 of them so far and only 1 comes close, even that would need a front bumper respray.

Going to look at one more in the morning, seems a bit too good to be true.

I had a ZR brand new. A 105 with campaign pack. Beautiful car. I do miss it. I wonder where it is now.
