I'm afraid to say I am now of an age where I think snow should stay where it belongs . . . . on Christmas cards

Horrible memories of the snow a couple of years ago. I couldn't really walk any distance as I'd just had my appendix removed after it burst on me! Drove to the shop about 300 yds down the road and took about half an hour to get home! Shop is downhill from us and it started snowing again as I left the house, by the time I tried to head home there was about 2-3 inches of fresh snow on top of what was already there! Two possible routes home, route one, the shortest, was too steep, tried it but she wouldn't look at it, I managed route two crawling in second gear and rocking the steering. After that the car didn't move again for weeks, luckily my father had a 4 x 4 and kept us supplied.

Not nice

Brian, global warming is the new name for increased taxation. Politician think we all need to be cured of our sins for heating our homes and driving our cars.

Move down south again, no snow in London, cold but bright today.
