![]() Did you fit an after market UBP if so they tend not to last long or a very noisy, a pierburg original will be silent and last 100,000 miles or more.

![]() I had the same thing, years ago, and it was a faulty ECM, due to having been wet at some stage in its life - but I'm guessing you've checked that...

also rimmers supply TI Automotive as OEM. Many of the last 2 pump system cars from factory had TI Automotive pumps. Work perfect 3.7bar and very quiet. Cheap aftermarket pumps sound like a swarm of bees buzzing underneath the bulkhead and often only produce circa 3.5bar Tested so many I have lost count. Mick
