Thanks scoubix, I set the unit to E46 type 1 I think, is that what you used? Loving the vehicle status with rpm, speed and the great benefit of engine temp current and maximum.

Yep E46 type I is the one I chose as well, as it's the closer one to our cars.
Too bad the Intravee was designed with BMW in mind and so many extras aren't working on our cars (such as door auto lock/unlock).
As for the status screen with RPM, speed and coolant temp, do you have the same weirdness as I do regarding fuel quantity which is just non-sense?

I choose that one and all seems to work ok at the moment.
I think that if the original designer had lived it would of been developed further, maybe incorporating more for R75 etc too. Apparently there was talk of development of an upgraded version but that won't now happen.
I have noticed that too, it seems to read a reasonably correct value to when turn on but once start the engine it goes to 5!!
Also I don't seem to be able to use the search function too well but then I haven't played with it too much.
I also will reduce the font size for the top level too once I become a bit more proficient.

Mine does the same thing with the fuel but I think it's my favourite upgrade so far.

I have noticed an issue when dip beam is on and you use the lazy indicators the fog lights come on, have you noticed this?

I certainly have not, and now you got me worried. isn't it rather a consequence of you playing with other lights settings within the Intravee, such as the one where the fog lights double as indicators? I know that option exists within the Intravee...

I'm not sure. Tbh I installed it quickly and at meet today so no time to play. Quick read on a BMW site suggested issue with having fogs active in some way interfered with indicators at night. I will look into it and feed back.

Wonder if it worth us having an Intravee thread for what's available and functions for our cars etc? Just an idea.

Great idea there for a dedicated thread. Though from my own experience, there's unfortunately not that many functions operational on our cars...

Ok I will look into information for a dedicated thread which might be of use for perspective purchasers and help newbies too.

It is a pity a lot of the additional functions are not available to us, but maybe if we pull the information together maybe a suggestion could be put to RichardP as I understand he develops the additional items.

Thing is, I reckon the current firmware pretty much makes use of all available memory registers, bytes, and everything, so adding new features is pretty much unlikely. Adding features for our cars, if possible, would mean having a dedicated software branch and remove all unnecessary BMW features. While it may be technically feasible, I doubt RichardP would have the time and will to do so for what is, essentially, a much smaller user community than the BMW one. How many R75 owners use an Intravee? Certainly not that many.
But we can always ask him :-)
