The late Les Paul
 Didnt realise he was also the inventer of multitrack recording, overdubbing, delay effects such as tape delay, phasing effects reverb, all of which I have used in the past. Quote "During his long tenure on this planet, Les Paul was something like the Thomas Edison of music. His work eventually earned him induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2005." A true genius of the music world.

Tony Arnold had the original Les Paul tape recording units in his old studio in Cranborne Dorset..
 It was in full working order and Tony actually used it a few times... I seem to recall the first mixing desk from the Rolling Stones was in that studio as well. Tony was re-wiring it when I saw it due to oxidization of the old solder joints causing crackle.. Oh and I can't get a tune out of the Google setup, The notes are all over the place..  ...
