I've never liked scotchlocks, they are very unreliable and can cut right through cables. You also might have issues with the LED wires being so tiny, they don't make any contact at all.

Your choice on where 3 or 2, for 2 take the original lamp out.

Fitted these today, simple enough. I used a couple of spade connectors on the LED wires and simply plugged into the boot courtesy light connections.

The output is amazing, very pleased with the results.
