She didnt smash any bottle ,she just pressed a button and a contraption smashed it for her
In the good old days wasn't it Champers on a rope with the bottle released by the Queen and sometimes it didnt smash first or even second time

Aaahhh!! Glenmorangie my favourite, I always get a bottle for fathers day, birthday and Christmas. Luckily we have 9 children (adults now) so I've usually got a bottle on the go. Note to Queen: Don't waste the nectar of the Gods, use that French pop stuff!! .
