Quite right Keith the one shown in the Xpart shop is a universal fit any car type as stated, it's probably OK but not a proper job.

I don't think you can buy the net on its own for the blind as I think it is all part of a net specific blind.

I have both the blind and the proper MGR steel dog mesh the net is not man enough for the job imho as my Dalmatian can get around the side of it if she tries

The proper MGR steel dog guard is a good piece of kit very strong and securely fitted, It would do what it is designed for in an accident the net in the blind would not stop a 25KG dog becoming a lethal projectile.

The proper dog guard crop up on Ebay often and go for about £80
Yes mine was the MGR one bought at the same time as my tourer, very solid
connected into roof fittings and to load rings at back of rear seat. I paid £86 for it and sold it to a member on .org for £25 when I switched to the ZT. If you can get one of these its well worth it. My dog would have netting for lunch! Dave

Yes it is, thanks!

(and that "used" price looks acceptable if it's in good nick and available!)

I have one of these in my car. It's quite a substantial net actually, not sure if it would restrain a slavering rabid rottweiler though.

LOL! Our Charlie will be a big dog one day, but I don't think she'll be in that league! When she is bigger, she'll have a job to get through anyway. I don't think we need a super-tough net, just something to deter her trying to get through (tbh, the headrests are doing a good job so far!)

I think you'll be fine with the load cartridge net then. They're very good, look neat, and when stowed away, you wouldn't know they were there.

Of course, we checked and our's hasn't got it.. :-(

Our dog could just get through the gap between seats and ceiling. I don't think she would, but a net would be sufficient to stop her, and a neater solution than a dog-guard

Does anyone know where I can find one, and for how much? (Has anyone got one they don't want, or would be prepared to exchange for a small sum?!)
WE have 2 of these. One is brand new & the other is a warranty return item that never made it back to Longbridge. As far as I am aware there is only a small crease in the loadspace cover. The rest is fine.
For details see the General accessories page of our website www.mgr-service.com
