I'll add another +1 to autoglym products. Using them for years with no issues.

Sound advice, and if he wants iron fallout, then I would recommend the 5l pack of Trolls breath, stinks to high heaven, but a very effective product, I recently bought another 5 litres, as my previous 5 litres, but took over 2 years to use, also great for cleaning wheels. They also do very good snow foam https://www.prokleen.co.uk/pro-kleen-trolls-breath Stu Last edited by Fusilier; 19th March 2021 at 15:25.. |

Very good value and does a great job, I pour an amount into a small pump spray bottle, and use it direct onto the car, and wheels, and leave for about 5 minutes to start working before either agitating, and then rinse off with clean water and it goes a deep red/purple colour as it works on the fallout, great for brakes as well Stu |

That looks a great product.
I live about ten miles from a steel works and this may well be a good thing to have. So reading the link, it says to spray the solution and rinse off. After you've done that do you wash the car as normal?

after using iron X products, yes you do wash as normal, as this product is designed to remove iron fallout from the surface of your car, and also is very good at removing brake dust from your wheels Stu |

I've used autoglym products for years but a year ago I got a severe gout attack (nothing to do with autoglm products!) ,but having a lot of time on my hands I started watching car cleaning videos on YouTube. What I wasn't aware of is that autoglym and other products don't actually offer any protection to the paint. The extra gloss protection does.
But my new polishing regime is polish with autoglym using a machine to work it in then a wax over that . I have quite a few different ones i have found from these films mainly from small independent companies then a sealer over that. Results are really good I wax and seal every three months or so ,water beads and runs off and paint stays very bright and shiny |
