Agree totally GG.
You just have to find a conscientious tyre fitter who you can trust, who takes pride in not damaging your alloys & bolts etc.

Also make sure they have the correct balancing weights before hand and that special plastic shield that slides round with the wheel to protect the rim during refitting.

I always tip Tony or Terry, my 2 local fitters, this helps too:lol:

Newbies do now!!
1. Plenum drains..all 3 or 4 year dependent
2. Cooling fan..All speeds functioning
3. Bonnet cable divider block

When having a tyre repaired always enquire if the dealer repairs to
BS AU159f specifications. As for plastic sleds a proper tyre fitter can do it without, even sleds can damage wheels if not used correctly.
