Deepest condolences Rich, just catching up with things & saddened to hear of your loss. Only met your Dad once when you brought him to a meet over in the Lakes, he was so well spoken I couldn't believe you were his son. It's just over a year since I lost mine, & although we never saw eye to eye on a lot of things, he was still my Dad. Time, as they say, is a healer, but as long as you
keep the memories, time doesn't matter. All the best mate.

Rich, I am just trying to appreciate of what you are going through.

I have just got back from seeing my Dad in Banbury hospital.
He is now very ill, so I am having to get to terms with the inevitable.

Most of my life, we didn't see eye to eye, but, with all of us, we only ever have one Dad.

My thoughts are with you Rich.

That was like us Bob, as a kid I fair hated him, but once I left home ,things changed, and as said in these last 3 months I think the bond really got stronger.
I always thought when his time came, I would be strong, I have been to a certain extent, as been kept busy, but on Sunday I had a breakdown, couldn't function with everyday life at all, I really thought I had lost my mind.
Better now though, but still really tired.
