I am picking up another set of Hairpins tomorrow that I bought for £100 as they are in good nick. I was planning to have the pins that I have on at the moment refurbed at some point but when I saw these I thought "what a steal" and only £40 to have the rubber switched over too. I am hanging on to the set that I have now and I am toying with the idea to refurb them myself (spotted a thread on here earlier and thanks to who posted it up)...I am going to keep my newer wheels as standard but has anyone ever done body colour wheels?, just a whacky thought of having a set of BRG ones too (HFF). ...Your wheels look great fella.
Cheers Tony

They look lovely.
However I dont agree with power coating for wheels. The finish is too thick compared to a paint finish, and I find that being plastic, its more susceptible to some forms of damage than the traditional paint with a hard laquer over the top. I do agree with getting suspension parts and subframes power coated though, primarily because its much cheaper than painting! |

Shadow chrome looks very nice. I'm thinking of having my 11-spoke alloys refurbed in the summer, but I want to ensure that they are sprayed the exact same silver that they were originally.
Can anybody tell me what the official MG colour description and/or code for that finish is, please?
