This would be a great buy for a member seeing as the belts have been done etc, must be someone out there looking for a fully loaded tourer for very little money

Peace of mind is worth paying more for and that surely comes with this car. It's well specced and looks gorgeous. I hope it goes over the price on here. It deserves to - you'd hardly get a shoebox from some other manufacturers for the money.

FWIW
There are 3 other 190's of that age, two have higher miles and all three are more money. Granted they are all at dealers, but one of them is up for £4k

Having bought 2 cars from members on here in the last 4 months, I would say it is the only way. Most of the newbie posts on here are about problems with a recently purchased car from a dealer on Autotrader or eBay. I'd even go as far as saying that member's cars ought to sell at a premium as you are getting a car that has been much loved, normally had all the necessary mods done, serviced regularly and often has lots of additional goodies on too. I'm still finding pre-project drive items on my Connie SE that the previous owner lovingly fitted.
Shame your car doesn't look like it will stay in the club. |

I agree. And with Fred's comment about the value of peace of mind. If I didn't have a 75 tourer that's got everything on I need, I'd be jumping at an opportunity like this. Unless the sale is urgent, I'd bump it on here a few more times, especially given that we've new members joining every day. I think the car is worth every penny, plus some. And I wish I could every car from a Tech Advisor! Good luck with the sale. Last edited by Leander; 16th February 2010 at 00:28.. |

Think if you were buying from a member who only has one or two posts then perhaps they are members just to sell the car so beware.
However, Greeners could be getting a lot of flak if this car is not up to the mark.

Shame it's not later this year, all I need to do is sell my car and save up some more pennies....looks an excellent car and harder to get with lower miles.
