Hi,

You should have received a text message or email with the details of where to pick it up.
If not give Sean a pm and he will let you know

Nothing ever easy with this order - I thought it would at least be delivered to my house - I have to go and collect it from somewhere?

Getting really exasperated now and the whole fiasco has really taken the shine of it for me, I have to say

Hi Ian,

There is a very good reason why we use UPS shop to shop service Sir.
Most people are out at work during the day and attempted deliveries and then returned to the depot seems to drive people nuts.
Not only that Hermes/Yodel etc have managed to lose parcels and have slow deliveries and just were not giving a satisfactory service.

The system used has been far more successful and most people have appreciated not having to take a day off work and having to wait in all day for a failed delivery etc.
Now they should just get a message and can pick it up at their convienance usually at a store within a mile or so from their address

Anyhow,
Hopefully you will be able to retrieve your parcel today

Fiasco worse

- UPS Delivering when you are not home and not coming back for 2 days
- UPS then leaving the parcel on the Stoop and someone walking away with it (It has happened)

I am responsible to get these to you folks so i have some say in it
Couriers delivering at residential locations have lost 6 head units on me that I HAD to replace.

Sorry but In this case we know best. the inconvenience is small compared to what Can happen . The UPS Access point is less than a mile from your home.

And I know that Only YOU Can collect it , Not given to some neighbour and never to be seen again because it wasn't really a neighbour (This also happened)

Hopefully not going too far off topic.
I know mine isn't in this shipment but just want to be prepared for when mines sent.

It's the first I've come across UPS shop to shop, good idea by the way.
I've just been looking on the UPS site and they say to collect your parcel you need to show a photo id
What happens if like me I haven't got a photo id? haven't got a passport and still have the old style driving license.

Andy
