Please point them out for us, at that price we all can have another a a spare. This car is the cheapest Ive seen for a long while. I very nearly bought this car in Jan 2009. It was up for sale at £7400 with 54K on it. Fully loaded, with full service history. I missed it by a day. Went on to buy mine in Feb 2009 with 6.5K for £8400.
They are fantastic cars and I still drive mine daily as a 260 and that will not change when it becomes a 385, as they say "Lifes too short not to"

Regards

Bainzi

I've seen a good few for under £5k. Mileage, spec and condition varies, but seen a good few. I think a lot of 260 owners are in denial about it though, some of the posts talking about the 'value' of 260's on the owners club are downright laughable.

In the end, the value of the car is decided by how much a buyer is willing to pay. There is, in my opinion, no doubt that one day the cars will fetch decent money.

Given the current climate, recession, fuel prices and the like I am not surprised by the current prices.

I wouldn't however go as far as calling things laughable.
Sure you'll agree when you try to sell a (your) car and someone offers 30% less.
Try to see it through the eyes of the owners, some of which may have been forced to sell due to financial circumstances.

Buy one for less the 5k (if you can find a good one), own and drive it for a while, and then tell me what you think again
