First car I ever went in with heated seats, wish the Rover's got as hot. Some cars are lucky and some not so - it was hit in a carpark twice whilst left so both corners of the back bumper were scuffed, had 2 punctures in the short time we owned it both requiring new tyres, and left us on the side of the A19 waiting for a low loader when a sensor under the bonnet went - just lost all power and coasted to the hard shoulder. Again fixed under warranty. Same diesel engine as in the SAAB's but never sounded quite the same. Much better than the 206cc she had before it though.
Those Z19DTH lumps are terrible engines.. swirl flaps and EGR issues.

Thank you for the positive comments gentlemen.

Here are some "topless" photos.

The roof mechanism is a masterpiece of engineering, with flaps and trims moving out of the way under power as the roof extracts into the boot.

Also, thank you for the comments about the house and garden. It is our dream house with a heritage and character that matches the 75s. The house was built about 1475 and is an Oak Framed H-shaped English Medieval Hall . Anyone who thinks Rovers take looking after, should try renovating and maintaining a 500+ year old house.
