It's a real disappointment. I was really hoping the platform of the show would of changed from the last presenters but Chris Evans is almost a clone of of Jeremy Clarkson. He's even trying the same old humour and sayings of his predecessors. His high pitched voice echoing around the studio is just grating. The BBC could of really turned this programme round if they wanted to. Matt LeBlanc's quite good though. He so much more easier on the ear to listen to.

I reckon its quite good, a breath of fresh-air, seems slightly more clean and modern, some new changes and ideas have come through. The 3 new presenters work well together, will bring a whole new audience which is what the BBC want.

Nothing against Clarkson, May or Hammond, but a change was long overdue.

I quite like matt le blanc he's pretty good, i don't like the 'sleb section but i didn't on the old tg but it seems it's compulsory on shows now.
Btw who was the guy with gorden ramsey?
Chris Evans wasn't as annoying as i thought.

Well I'm enjoying it so far...

Matt Le Blanc has given a few laughs, but Chris is a little annoying - but we knew that would be the case.

I didnt particularly like the 'celeb off road bit' if I'm honest.

I do think if it was really different from the previous format, people would have complained about that too

Its early days yet, plenty of time for them to bed in and adapt if necessary.

I think Matt Le Blanc would make the better main host by a long shot !

errrm, emmmmm errrrrrrrrrrm

I do occasionally like Chris Evans, more so as he has aged/matured. But no! Based on this one episode, hmmm no! It smacks of 'I wanna be ...... I wanna be .......' Instead of 'this is my show......'

In saying that, how many remember Top Gear (v2) when it started? It was awful in some portions. Remember? pre James May? Jason Dawe (I had to look it up)

This current incarnation reminds me of the Australian Top Gear from series 2. Series one was unwatchable, a few tweaks made it bearable for 2, (which is where I think the new British one is at the minute), then 3 was probably as good as it got.
