Your right, it isn't, business has changed hands since I first used them, none were Fred's, it gets it's name from the tyre depot on same site, and none of them are called Fred either.

Sorry buddy but they are unfortunately, static ANPR's are on every major route around where I live now, I can't access any route without passing at least one of them, they are capable of reporting everything that a police car ANPR can.

The route to an MOT testing station is not defined nor is the distance to any such station, so as long as you are on route to it as such you will not be prosecuted.

It's ok trying to bend things until it goes wrong..... all motorways have ANPR cameras on working 24/7 as do a lot of Primary APTR's (Trunk roads)

Chickened out, explaining to a Police officer today is one thing, answering a letter that drops on the mat several days or weeks hence is another - good news, took direct route, submitted car for MOT and ...... another Pass with zero advisories, now comes the hard bit, to sell or not to sell, that is the question !

Motorway would have involved M271 from M27 (J3) - undergoing serious roadworks with temporary lights and up-to an hours delay to join slip road, in normal times traffic is so so apart from rush hour, but with current delays traffic jams are unpredictable and never ending, not worth the aggravation for 5-minutes 'fun'.
