The secret is in the prep Dave, get all the nasty stuff off and make sure its 100% dry.

That's the problem its still too cold and damp to do anything hopefully soon the heat will pick up.

With the extra hours of day light now working on cars as just become that much easier.

Industrial floor paint in my experience isn't as durable as you think even on floors. In a Hammerite stylee it can scratch and scuff almost if you just look at it wrong.......unless you actually want to remove it obviously when it suddenly becomes extremely difficult to remove


My advise is to use something designed for the job.

I very nearly did went for the paint and after seeing your post I'm so glad I didn't. #

In head I was convinced that if heavy vehicles can drive on it and not crack then it will be more durable.

Guess I my theory went up in flames on this one, but all part of the learning process.
