Third one down looks nice.
Fits all of above.
Around the same price but actually in use.

Distances are from my House but I always have to travel miles for right car.

Bells are ok they often post on XPF they had a good easy repair 260 not long ago that went for a fair price

I posted about that Gold Tourer a little while ago before I bought the one I am repairing now

I thought it was fair starting price myself being an auto and low miles I think it is a straight honest car as Bells are not just a salvage yard plus as we all know a sticker price is not a selling price

You are not exactly far away so why not go and look at it?

Richards reply to me was

"The does indeed appear to be undamaged; it starts and drives with no problems at all, and the bodywork is in good condition. It is COMPLETELY hpi clear, which means that it has NOT been subject to an insurance claim as far as we are aware."

It's going to be like any car though if you can't verify anything perhaps by contacting the previous owner and it feels wrong walk away.

Why not see if someone like DuoTone who lives I believe in Sheffield will go for a look with you as well, two sets of eyes etc.....

Simon,

I'd be tempted to get a thorough AA/RAC check done on that car. The wording of the advert has set an alarm bell ringing in me, and I'm thinking of the flooding a few weeks back in Sheffield, as Tourerfogey has already mentioned.

Bells is quite local to me, 15 mins away and if you want another set of eyes to look over it, I'd be happy to have a run down with you. But not until Weds or Thurs.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I may just give it a miss and wait for another to come along as they do just when you dont expect them to.

This is the reply from them.

""Hi Simon

I have the details that you requested.

The car does not have an Mot or Tax and there is not service history for this car as it was not supplied with the vehicle.
Richard does have the Registration documents.
The Registration number for the vehicle is *******

Please feel free to contact me with any further queries and I look forward to hearing from you

Kind Regards""

I think at the price its best not to bother as no history, no mot and at a salvage yard do ring alarm bells as mentioned earlier.

Simon.

It's made it's way onto ebay now. Interesting that the passenger seat airbag has been deployed too as he never mentioned that when I emailed him!
