So he was wearing a helmet Wasn't sure when I first heard it. I think he was skiing off a part of the mountain not mainly used by the public. Can only hope for good news now

According to reports he's been deteriorating since the incident, hopefully he'll start picking up again soon and no lasting damage done.
Daily Mirror is running live updates about his condition. 22:22 update on the above site, his wife and children are at his bedside. That plain doesn't sound good. Last edited by stevestrat; 29th December 2013 at 21:32.. |

It's ironic that after all his driving accidents with no real injury he is now in a serious condition as a result of todays accident.
I had a go at skiing in my youth and finished up in a ditch amongst some bushes because I failed to stop in time. In those days helmets weren't even given a thought, it was my first and last attempt. C'mon Shuey you have to come through this. |

Shocking news, hope he pulls through with no lasting problems.
Although he was the one everyone wanted to hate when he was driving, I shan't forget that immediately after the Pacific Tsunami a few years ago he donated $6m dollars of his own money to the appeal fund, far more than most governments gave. Get well soon Michael. |
