Well she was a powerful figure, a Great Britain in her own way, whether you agree with her politics or not, which i mostly dont.

I totally agree, her greatest legacy is the invention of soft ice cream. She should have stuck to scientific matters!

I am extremely saddened to read the anti Margaret Thatcher comments on a car club forum , I hope she like any other departed rests in peace. hopefully there are still some lingering christian values left in this country.

Probably best not to go there since christian values vary so much, and arent necessarily 'good'.. However yes, even if you think she was evil, she has died today, so it might be classier to give it a day or 2..

Even if you hate her politics, she was strong and very British. I don't see her world renowned strength in her successors.

Mrs Thatcher, the milk snatcher - took free milk from Primary School children; illegally sank the Argentine Cruiser Belgrano, killing hundreds of men; engineered the Miner's Strike and turned Britain into a Police State; shamefully, willfully ignored Merseyside in the early Eighties, agreeing to leave it "withering on the vine'; deregulated Banking - that was a really good idea wasn't it?; sold our national assets: Utilities, Rail etc; introduced the Poll Tax! oh and allowed selfish people to pay a little bit less tax...*** everyone else eh?

Mrs Thatcher...a great Prime Minister!

Seems to be more anti Thatcherites that those for so how come she was voted in to three terms in office and only got pushed out by her own lot and not the public?
