It is a bit far gone...... Still, sit on it another few years and it'll be MoT exempt won't it? Be ok to take to the shops....

You could always pay a bit more and have one like this.......

How much !!!

I had one of these things as a company vehicle brand new, and apart from needing to wear ear defenders, it was quite nice, or is that rose tinted spectacles


Mind you, I much prefer the look of the Royal Mail 440 in the background

That brings back memories. The smell and rattles from the back, the squeaking of the inner door handles, fibre floor matts, brown vinyl seats, and the illicit lifts to school. My father had two of these(I think one was HXI 7902) after a few of HA Bedford vans (one of which I think was XOI 1759). Then they went with leased Escorts and Transits. (His Escort was XXI 4448). Is the gear knob wrong too in the BT ebay one? I recall my Dad's having the same as in the mk1 metro)

I used to run one, a petrol model for business but after 6 months I found it was just too small.
It was traded in for a Mazda 2000 panel van. I had two of these vans and they were brilliant with loads of carrying capacity.
