I started reading to pass a few minutes, found I couldn't stop until I reached the your latest post. What a great job, a credit to you. What the final cost will be is nothing compared to what the end product will be. When you think, you can buy a new cheap car for around 6k which is like riding on a skateboard. NO comparison.

Wheels
Well I took my wheels into get powder coated, at RS Alloys in Hartlepool and will be collecting them at around 1600 hrs today.
I took 4 of them to get done, and having 4 brand new tyres fitted as well. I looked at some of the amazing colours they can do, and have gone for a colour which I think will suit the car. Once I get them back will post up some photo's and then next month will get the belt service done, and hopefully it will then be ready for the road in Arpil And thanks to Suzublu for popping over and also for the coffee, as well and helping me make the decision on which colour to choose Stu Last edited by Fusilier; 7th February 2014 at 11:02.. |

Yes you should have. I went to collect them, and they (RS Alloys) are not 100% happy with the quality, as they had the smallest spec of bleed due to previous corrosion, so they are going to re-do them for me, I must say that the company are one of the best I have ever dealt with, and the lads are really nice and very informative, and they also showed me how the complete process works. I took a couple of photo's of the wheels So will be going back next week one day to collect them, but If ever I could recommend a powder coaters then this is one of the very best, and they are total perfectionists Stu Last edited by Fusilier; 7th February 2014 at 16:07.. |
