All versions of IGO sometimes get the error message, I would 9 out of 10 times mine is fine, the only method I have found, that seems to be 100% is if you use Petruts WinCe Patch and run IGO though that.

Again Petrut has brought out a Patch for the head units that will allow you to run the internet through WinCe, but it does need a 3G modem connected to it and a wireless keyboard, Picky767 already has the patch and my modem for testing, I would think Graham will post more once he has fully tested it.

I can't work out what's wrong unless its a bug in that skin.
Hi David, sorry I have not replied to you message, I am lost with the Dimka skin, as I do not currently have a unit (sold mine and am now waiting for the head unit with TMC to arrive) , so I can not test it, for you.

Playing with mine yesterday I found an option to test for TMC... Okay I'll bite... What's TMC?

Mine said it couldn't find it anyway.

Hello Edd

TMC= Traffic Master Channel, your unit will not have it, you can search using autosearch but it will not pick anything up. It s bit like the Traffic Master that displays on the IPK, but a bit more involved, it picks up traffic signes sent out by local radio stations and then reroutes you arond them when you are using IGO8

The units that are now being supplied by Sean (after a long slug with the factory) can have TMC at an extra cost

Just goes to show how these things are developing. Only had mine less than two weeks and its obsolete already.

Mind you I don't think I need that feature anyway.

Sheesh.
