This isn't instilling me with confidence that mine will be working when I get mine back.
Starting to think I should have gone for a refund and bought one of Sean's or maybe should have got it looked at by a repairer 1st. Mine wouldn't read discs, so am guessing laser was out of alignment? Would it be easy to have laser alignment adjusted? Chris

I think for the Radioguy unit it is port 2 and 9600.

Yup, bin ,there changed the GPS board on the last one & didn't make any difference to that ones Problem. so still got the Board from that one left over . Waiting on a reply from the little inscrutables .. see if they want to see me another . I've got a lot of lectronic parts from previous lives lying about, maybe I should put in an DIN inline socket on the board so I can change the GPS easier ? getting a bit silly.. its cost me 228 quid total so far inc the returing costs . the rest of it works well ..but GPS was my no1 one option. Chris

Many thanks for the offer Sean, I'll see where this goes for the time being.
I've started another emailing session with the supplier and am wating a second reply . I think the count on the last unit was around 53 emails ? The whole thing did work straight off ... but the GPS side just stopped after a few minutes and still doesn't find any Sats , thorough the system monitor and obviously IGO it does seem there is an inherent weakness in the GPS side of some of other makers units ( Not Yours ). take care Chris Still got my tomtom 500 so I don't get lost ??

Yup, its the same 9600 and port 2 for this one too but it should auto setup in the GPS Setup menu's , fairly sure the porting is coded into the system firmware . As I mentioned it did work for a few minutes in both the System GPS monitor and needed no mods to IGO to get going but then it just stopped picking up the satelites! Chris

This is my 2nd unit , the first one fell over after a few weeks, and the supplier jumped on the GPS side as the problem, ( I didn't agree as it lost all its audio volume ) but this one replaced it after many weeks hassle and now this arggh!!

When the GPS actually worked during the first few minutes the Antenna was under the dash as before , but since then its been out on the dash top, and also on the roof, with no difference. its the same with the antenna from the first unit. Definately a fault in the main box. Chris
