Another thing that stops me getting forward, I won’t be insured to drive even though DVLA said I can, it just means I can’t until licence is held in my wallet.
We rand to see if dr has send off the form, well it arrived ONE MONTH ago and DVLA are still waiting for it send to them. It’s just hoping he sends form off straight away next week, we told DVLA that we need licence back soon to allow me to start work again, the lady we spoke to said they will make a note of starting work and it will hurry them up send licence to me. So next work week I planned to get van serviced and MOTD, will have to be cancelled in case I don’t get insured of it. Like I said in previous post make one step forward, but you get knock 10 steps back.

Been a doggy afternoon today, Suzy and Maya both clipped. Maya still needs her back legs finished off but she was getting bored and fidgety so called it quits. We have to get Pops done professionally, she get so psyched out being clipped that getting it over and done with quickly is best, even at that she needs a tranquilliser.

Good morning Jeff, a great picture of a great car with lots of heritage. I wonder how reliable Alfas are?
Any plans for the weekend? A few weeks ago, I pulled a muscle in my groin climbing over a fence of barbed wire. The pain hadn’t gone so I am getting it checked out and seeing a doctor on Monday. Has anything like that happened to anyone else in getting the leg over the fence? How is everyone? |

Why put yourself under so much pressure and stress in getting the van back on the road, you have waited this long. I have just insured my borrowed car and it’s high at £1642 for a year, so I am paying monthly until I no longer need it. So when it comes to insure your car be prepared to have a couple of thousand put to one side in case it’s expensive. Hopefully it won’t come to that. Listen Richard, you have been through hell and back. You have done really well, challenging each obstacle when ever they cropped up, you have nerves of steel and we are all rooting for you. Try and think positive about where you are now in your life. If you can get away with the family for a holiday, do go. I know you were thinking about a cruise |

Hang on in there Rich.
It'll all come together. Nice day here, Quizzie doing her usual - lay down in the sun, cook gently, take herself off indoors and lay on the cool tiles. And repeat . Hope Zed the Ted is relaxing and everyone is having a good weekend. Take care all. PS It's a brave man that takes on an old Alfa. I owned one Italian car - never, ever again. Makes the reputation of Rovers look stunningly impressive. |
