We’ve had good weather every day this week , it’s been quite warm today and I just popped out and we have clear skies tonight.

As I said above we’ve had nice weather all week, I had a few walks to the local supermarket and back home this last week.
As I said last week I’m due to receive my driving licence after I surrendered it to DVLA, well my dr at a hospital phoned me about 2 weeks ago and offered to send a report of my accident and currently being fine to start driving again.
I just wish DVLA would hurry up and send it, then I can get van serviced insured and mot.

Ging phoned me at 1am, "get a photo of the northern lights" . . . . I'd already looked before I went to bed and could see nowt. I got up, dressed and wandered around the front and back gardens, nope. There was the feintest hint but nothing that was going to photo. Had a hell of a job getting back to sleep

Saw them years ago when I was driving trains, early hours of the morning bringing a freight back from Newcastle. Spectacular sight when coming down from Grantshouse.

Will your eyesight problems and the possibility of a Cornea transplant affect your driving?

Next Wednesday both Jessica and myself are having our eyes checked. I was diagnosed 5 years ago with Cataracts even though I don’t have any symptoms.

I wonder if they can change the colour of my eyes?

My street name is Phil the Pill, I wouldn’t mind Ol Blue Eyes

Eyes are not my specialty, but we have been warned to take a taxi to the hospital on Wednesday because of the medication they have to put into the eyes.

I am hoping everything goes your way as you are one of the good guys on the forum and you deserve the best. It’s been a long road for you and you are nearly there, stay strong.

There were a couple of feint wisps visible to the eye, if my DSLR was charged I might have caught them but not with the iPhone.

It’s yea and no to be honest Phil, my right eye had a cataract remove in January 2022, and I was a bit poor with eyesight but the drs told me to stay until after dinner time, and put some drops in the eye.
After dinner I went back to eye department and dr had a machine that spray in the eye and said your vision will be better tomorrow, and it was.
The trouble with the left eye will help me get back to good vision from the eye, wether it improves or not won’t stop me driving apart from a bus.
Once it’s been treated with a transplant cells, will get my vision improved and allow me to get a medical for driving bus again.

Boy what a sizzler, I'm fried after re-potting lots more plants outside, I've run out of compost again so job stopped. I've snow foamed two cars & that's me done, Next door is having a kids party & they're playing in the big swimming pool, My ears can't take the noise, so I've retreated indoors.
I'm having a wedge of cold corned beef pie & little salad with some potato salad I've just made & my missus & daughter are having a prawn salad.
