Great pic of the Land Rover Jeff, I agree about their industrial ride comfort, I went with my mate many moons ago (1980's) to a Land Rover breakers up around Lancaster to strip some parts & I had to check my teeth to see if the filings were still there when we arrived
That was the last time I rode in one.
Morning Ian,

The worst part is not being able to get the seat back far enough due to the bulkhead.
I'm not tall but there is so little room it is like being pressed up against the steering wheel

Had that with a hire van in my railway days. Not sure what it was, Corsa van rings a bell. Felt as if I was wearing it rather than sitting in it.

Day eight of being confined to the house, starting to get a bit stir crazy. Today I'm trying to get around without the crutch, lounge to kitchen, lounge to bedroom etc is manageable, just, anything involving standing for anything more than a few minutes or steps is a no no, thankfully we're in a bungalow but there's a step from the back door to the path. Ging took a photo of the bruise on my back, about the size of a decent orange, dark blue/purple. When I landed on the table there was a covered bowl, I suspect I landed on it because the top of it was broken.

It's a warm dry day albeit cloudy, so car wash time inside & out .

It's a stunning day down at the Marina.

Me by Jeff Cranwell, on Flickr

I took a walk around the Marina earlier and filmed it.
I'll post it up later as I'm now going to fire up the TV onboard for the Liverpool match

Still having the physio administer electric shock therapy to the knees for knee pain once a week. The yellow sponges are soaked in water. Electrodes are connected between the sponges and an electrical socket on the wall. The shocking lasts about 20 minutes and numbs the pain and it improves the blood supply to the knees….. in theory. An alternative to pain medication or whiskey. I like the idea of the Scotch.
