That's my next job when I get all the planting out of the way, Pressure the driveway, I've spilled so much soil the flags are turning black

I've just changed one of the bird feeders as the old one was broken & split. The birds are nervous of the new feeder & all the sparrows are perched on branches just looking at it waiting for the first one to try it.

Hung my work pants up to dry after the pressure washing and some kind seagull has left a deposit on them. Hope that he doesn't return with the "balance"!

Just had yet another call from British Gas, to service my boiler, as it is due, and they have an engineer in my area!!!! They serviced it last may, so I have told them to ring back in late April or May, when it is actually due and convenient for me, not them! This is about the fifth time that it has happened! During Covid, they were very late with the service (due to a shortage of "fit" engineers at the time). I've heard that they may have to refund people with service contracts, that were "missed". This will be the last service that they do for me as the last "service" took twenty minutes max, including at least ten to fifteen minutes of fiddling with his "tablet". I was then "noted" for a three way valve fitment (which he didn't do - just sprayed it with lube and jiggled it back and forth. The valve came out of his van and went back into his van! He never even isolated or drained it!) I don't pay for parts or have an excess but something fishy went down.

Morning all,

Just catching up on what I've missed over the last few days on here...

Monday was a lovely day and I took Lady Emma with a few friends from the camera club for a trip up the North Sea to the ports of Harwich & Felixstowe and back.

A nice calm sea allowed me to open the taps up and give it full beans

A few phone snaps from my friend Jerry...

Mornin'. Effin sore today, gave myself a dull one yesterday evening. As Ging left for work I was "instructed" to get some soil from the many molehills on the grass in front of the cottages. Filled a big bucket (bleedin' heavy!), humped it back. Once I got up the steps to the gate I decided to make things easier by getting the wheeled pot mover. Put the bucket on the pot mover, I was leaning down shoving it along the path (quite quickly) when it caught a join in the concrete, the pot mover stopped dead, I didn't! Momentum took me over the top, landing heavily on my side but here's the kicker, I landed with my elbow in my ribs. Suspect I've bruised ribs, couldn't get comfortable during the night, moving hurts, can't take a deep breath, coughing is a really bad idea!
