Very little in the way of wind here, bright, sunny but downright cold.

Lovely sunny day here but, that north-easterly wind is proper taters. It's the first time in months I've seen the lawns drying out, The grass is growing & the lawns are showing signs of needing mowing.

Wow! Ready for this one, the Scottish government has authorised Glasgow city council to create a charge (up to £650 PA) for anyone who drives to and parks at work . . . . in a company owned private car park!! https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/othe...d88aa2a4&ei=10 Glasgow city council has commissioned a consultancy to look into how to implement the charge.

I love today's cars Jeff. I remember going to an auction preview to look at an Aston Martin DB6, back in the 1970's. I was going to have it I told myself! On the day of the auction, it was snowing heavily, so I thought that I would have an even better chance. The auction was due to start at 10 am and I arrived at five to ten, only to be told that the auction had started early due to weather conditions! The Aston Martin had been put up first and was sold! I shrugged my shoulders and left, only to be told later that it had been bought by the auctioneers son! Grrrrrrrrrr! Much later, I found that he had wrapped it around a lamp post! Luckily, no-one injured! Kalma!

They're saying You will use public transport whether you like it or not since we've bought all these electric buses. No other European country has registered as many electric buses than the UK. https://www.electrive.com/2024/02/23...ses-in-the-uk/

Cool

Evening all.

Been a bootiful day. Glorious sunshine. But best of all I don’t have to use my crutches if I don’t want to. Managed a walk out onto the decking this morning and this afternoon I managed a short walk from my front door up to where Banana is parked. Was a bit chilly in the shade, but it still made me feel so much better in myself.
