Default Snake

Hi Phil, snake in car - yes happened to us in Zambia. My sister got bitten by a Burrowing Adder and my father put the snake in a paper bag to get it identified, just as well as it saved my sisters life. Next morning looked in bag, snake gone, they had to dismantle the inside of the car and found it inside one of the doors, so yours might still be there.

cheers.

Jennifer

Cool

My blooming stomach is playing me up today. Been fine all morning but this afternoon spent more time dashing to the loo, not easy with an AirBoot on. No idea what has caused it.
Tablets taken so hopefully I’ll be ok tonight.

Been chatting with my god daughter, she has been given a mobile phone with limited access. I’m on the WhatsApp with her. Don’t think I’ll be travelling up to see her for awhile.

If it starts hissing consult a medical professional.

Good morning Jennifer

How the guys here love to pull my leg

What a memorable experience you had in Zambia and thank goodness your sister was saved by your dad’s quick thinking action. Some bites have anti venom in the hospitals otherwise it’s a case of trying to keep still, keep calm and keep breathing until you can get to hospital and hope for the best.

When we see a snake, we let it carry on its way, we don’t try to kill it.

Yesterday we checked the car again before went out the take Jessica for a physio appointment. Next to the car on the ground was a snake skin, I think the snake somehow got out, although we are still checking. Thank you for alerting us the snake could still be there in the car.

Because of where we live in a small holding surrounded by dense vegetation trees and being close to a meadow of long grass, there are many snakes.

They tend to come out early evening as daylight is fading.

I expect you did the same in Zambia, checking your shoes for scorpions, under the toilet seat for poisonous spiders and under the bed for the snake. We do get small lizards called Gecko’s on the walls inside the house and we leave them alone.

We have booked our flight back to London for the end of June and hope it’s going to be a lovely summer when we get back.

How are you, how are your eyes after your treatment?

Good morning all, how is everyone?

Hopefully Bob is feeling better and the tablets for the runs are working.
