Woke up this morning 2/3" snow but it is melting now light rain .

Morning all. Heavy rain all night.

Busy weekend, starting on Saturday with the Xmas dinner with the CMGOC down at Quintrell Inn. 70 of us sat down to an excellent carvery. I took my walking buddy Marion along with Allen and Val.

And on Sunday I went to the Southwest Crew Xmas dinner at the Ten Tors restaurant for another carvery. Debbie took us in her taxi.

Today will be a quiet day for me as it is my Val’s 82nd birthday.

Morning all, The snow has been replaced by rain & looks to be set in for the day looking at the forecast.
I'm off to the clinic shortly to get my shingles jab.

Brr! It's still raining & cold to boot, Just finished giving the car a clean & emptying it out ready for it's service & 1st MOT tomorrow. Heatings on & another pan of chicken vegetable soup with suet dumplings on the go YUM, Time to drive some trains me thinks

Builders been in knocking out the old firepalce and taking out the gas fire, did not realise how many rules and regs for the fireplace opening , to make it ready for the woodburner
