Enjoy your shopping at 'ROYS'

Morning all, Yet more blooming rain again with a blustery SW wind. I could do with an haircut.

LOL 3s 2d for twenty Boy did I go through some foot pedal boards searching for "the tone"
I stopped with this older line 6 Pod XT live one as I got rid of my amps a long time ago, They cause too much hassle with neighbours & family unless you need them for playing live, I find the software with this pedal board is good, Line 6 have an online tone library with tens of thousands of tones for almost any song you want to play, They just need a bit of tweaking to your set up & you're good to go.

Morning. Does anyone remember when it used to be dry?

This is my box of tricks:

The Colorsound Fuzz Box and Impedance Balancer are self builds. I bought the Toneworks effects system but never really got into it.

What a dreary miserable rainy day here, Still haven't switched the house lights off since first thing this morning. I need some cat litter & I'm taking Mam to her Wednesday afternoon bingo with her mates at the old peoples home. I've postponed the haircut for another day.
It's a baking day so I'm making a 2lb wholemeal loaf & as I've got plenty of mince pork & belly pork slices in the freezer I'm making a batch of sausage rolls too.

Nice pedal board Steve , That's got all the best tone effects there.

I was never satisfied & kept changing guitars & tones constantly, The floor space in the bedroom mancave wasn't big enough I'd go from rock tones on the Les Paul to shimmering clean bright reverb tones on my jazzmaster. That line 6 pod xt live floorboard & the software tone library was just perfect for me which freed up a lot of room on the floor.

When I made the impedance balancer I missed a ground wire, first time I used it I picked up a traffic report on local radio . . . . WTF

The Colorsound Fuzz was a result of hearing the Edgar Broughton Band from the '70s, playing "Love In The Rain", I was hooked by the sound. "How did he do that?" After searching a bit with no results I found a band website with an email link for Edgar Broughton himself! Emailed him, got a really nice reply, he was delighted that I was interested, it was refreshing to find a guitarist who was so willing to talk about how he achieved his sound, told me it was a Colorsound Fuzz box. Had a hunt, genuine fuzz boxes were an absolute fortune, hundreds of quid, found a circuit diagram and built my own.

I'm off to the boat this morning. My Mum and Husband are popping down to see the boat and have a brew on board. She has never been on Lady Emma having not wanting to travel far after her bowel operations. Now she has had the bowel resection and removal of the colostomy bag she is happier to get out more. Also the boat being that much closer will hopefully mean she will be able to have trips aboard when the weather is better

Got the dental hygienist this afternoon so have that to look forward too

Apart from getting the jab, have you any other plans today for the both of you?
Thank you Jeff,

Colostomy reversal is life changing for the better and it’s great news you will be taking your mum out in Lady Emma more often, what a treat for her and her husband, how kind.

I am under instructions from the surgeon to keep active as walking makes new blood vessels and capillaries which will help the bypass work better.

I am hoping after your next laser treatment you will take things easy and not be rushing around. What is the recovery period, is it 6 weeks? How many times can the eye be repaired with a laser?

The surgeon told me, if I want the bypass to work and save the leg from being amputated I have to do as I am told. He added the bypass can only be done one more time. Well so far, so good.

After the jabs, weather permitting, we are walking in the park.
