We've had a few showers roll through today but It's a nice sunny afternoon now, Managed to get the back lawns mowed & a trees branches trimmed so I'm happy to get those jobs done today as tomorrow is looking wet again.

There has been plenty about trying to claim off our local council all over local Facebook pages (spotted in ) etc. Doesn't seem to get people very far here.
Both front tyres were down to about 3-4mm of tread so were soon going to have to be replaced anyhow.

I shall just put it through my business expenses. Only money

I'd say about an hour with all the safety stops, sounds wonderful though.

I was in Jamaica on a work related trip, a Medi-Vac case.

From what I remember, the dive lasted two and half hours, including coming back up. I had a buddie from the dive company, a Rastafarian with blonde dreadlocks who was totally relaxed about everything. As we went down, he dived with his arms folded and occasionally would look back in my direction to check I was okay. He was the lead and took me down to a ship wreck where everything was very peaceful and visibility was good. We did not go inside the wreck.

What I did not like was the boat trip back to the shore, it was quite choppy and I was sick as a dog. A small price to pay in the scheme of things.

Andy, if you get the chance, record everything on cam

A busy day for you Jeff and I am sure you will be able to cover your costs with a photo shoot, no problem

As you know my op was postponed by the hospital to 02 October and because ULEZ is expanding at the end of August, I have had to change my hotel stay 2 weeks after I am discharged from the hospital to stay close to the M25 boundary outside of ULEZ.

I thought if I book it now, it will be cheaper than leaving it to the last moment. I will pm you the hotel we are staying in case you fancied a trip over.

No rain here today, so can't complain.

Just had a strange encounter. Went into the kitchen and there was a small bird on the back door step. I thought it may have hit the (glass) door and stunned itself. I picked it up, didn't look stunned, they usually pant and sit still, this one was quite perky and sat on my hand looking around. I gently stroked its back and started speaking to it, after a minute or so it turned round and stood looking directly at me, not in the slightest bit concerned. I carried on speaking softly to it and it started chirping back to me This carried on for several minutes before it turned round and eventually flew off.

Not 100% sure but think it could have been a young Dunnock.

The second of October? Seems a long wait to finally get you operation, I hope Jessica is a lot better and moving without any problems when you have it done.
We have had about 2 very heavy showers, not for very long but the rain was very heavy.
Fiona hung out some washing , I went for my haircut with my son and with in about 2 minutes leaving the house, the rain suddenly poured .
