Well done Rich, it's an awful job to have to do, you will feel better once it's all done.

Thanks Andy, it’s better for us with the clothes, personal things as the Heart Foundation hopefully won’t charge up.
If they still say to charge us ,one of their neighbours told me about another local charity that would collect everything free, so we will ask the free charity the other is instead.
They quote us over £300 to arrive take all furniture, remove clothes and take away bedding clothes and any personal belongs , but we have already packed things in bubble wrap in about 2 dozen boxes , so they should hopefully collect free.

Good morning Richard

A difficult and emotional time for you but you are getting through it.

A month today, we will be in the UK and I am hoping my friendly mechanic has found us a car for us to use whilst we are visiting and then I will be getting ready for my next operation in June/July, a femoral bypass right leg. As you know when I had the same operation on the left leg in 2015, I was incapacitated for 8 months. Jeff very kindly visited us post op when I was living in London.

Here are a few photos I took over the past few days. We employ farm workers to help us do some manual work which includes clearing and cleaning a spring. The spring supplies us with drinking water and it comes from underneath the mountain. The only filters we use to clean the water is a sand filter.

The other photos are some overlooking the nature reserve and Hottentot Mountains. One of the back of the house.

It is very quiet and peaceful here…..

Have a great weekend

Default The Chill Out Zone

Overgrown access path to the spring. Sometimes a precarious path because of the snakes who like to visit to catch and eat the frogs.

Otherwise it’s all beautiful and peaceful

Morning. Damp and grey here, light drizzly rain. Done my good deed for the day already, liberated a wee Blue T1t that flew into the kitchen.
