We are high up on the slopes of the mountain and where we are, it’s fairly isolated so we learned to be self sufficient and look after ourselves. It’s very peaceful and tranquil here, we love going for walks and driving off road in the 4x4.

Whilst here we are checking on the fire breaks and other properties we rent out. All the profits are reinvested back into the upkeep of the land and mountain. We don’t take anything for ourselves.

We are lucky the tenant loves cutting the lawns and has his own mowers. He keeps a Staffy for company and security, a delightful little doggy.

Richard, hoping your recovery is going well and where you had the operation, everything is healing. Do be careful cutting the lawn and enjoy the dry weather.

Morning all.

Fabulous place Phil .

It's been a miserable, damp morning here but is drying up now.

Oliver is being a "challenging" 3 year old this morning. We'll be off out with Quizzie soon - maybe that'll distract him from whinging .

Take care everyone.

Phil,You have told me to take time cutting the grass, I was out of breath by the time I did the back lawns, I can’t do the front grass because the battery on the van needs charging up.
I feel a lot better having my head looks finally normal than the operation so thanks for asking if I’m feeling well.

Phil, I have to go to another doctor once in.a couple of weeks for 3 weeks on my heart test, then in August putting me on a bed and turning me upside down to see if I am finally finished fainting by the brain or not. I certainly hope I can get the allowance to do a test by the DVLA which will finally allow me to drive.
I am pleased to hear your health is managing to keep you in well ,but I never knew it could even take a whole year to become in good health.
Good luck when you have the operation in the summer, hope your leg starts to get well soon.

Cool

We had 19 MG’s at the breakfast meet. It was damp with moisture falling and a chilly wind.

Roast chicken for tea with roast spuds and broccoli.

Glass or two of Chardonnay to round the day off.
