Morning, bright, sunny but cold again. Wasn't a happy bunny earlier, sound asleep when I was woken up by a text from Ging before seven. Not some emergency, not some vital information . . . . she was "placing an order" for dinner "can you get the pork out of the freezer and make adobo today?"

I made a start on replacing some rotten decking boards but only managed two before I got a twinge in my back I've learned not to cross that line, there's always another day.

Bleddy mice! I noticed the bags of bird seed in the garage had been nibbled last week so I put them in a carrier bag & hung it up high in the garage, Blighters have found it & chewed holes in the seed bags & carrier bag & there's seed everywhere on the garage floor
The seed is now in empty milk bottle containers inside a sealed plastic storage box now.
One of our cats catches them every now and again but there must be a few in there judging by how much bird seed & suet balls have disappeared.

Cool

4 police vans lined up in our road this morning. All the officers had their riot gear on. I was waxing Banana when one came over and said what a lovely colour. I replied with a thank you and with that they pulled away.

Watching the snooker, before watching the gee gees on the National.

Nice here . . . . as long as you stay in the sun. As soon as it disappears behind one of the frequent clouds the temperature drops like a stone.

We get bulk seeds every month or so, usually 25 kilos along with suet balls. They're always kept in sealed plastic containers in the shed. Any we can't get in the containers are kept in the house until there's space. We're not putting the suet balls out just now, only have an ordinary feeder for them and that's attracting Jackdaws and Magpies scaring the wee birds away. Need to get a better squirrel/large bird proof feeder.

Paying for kneeling down doing those two decking boards even with one of those kneeling pads
My right knee swelled up like a football so I've been in a red hot bath for an hour with a handful of painkillers & a bottle of apple juice It's still swollen but I don't care any more

Don't drink too much cider, the swollen knee could be gout

I wouldn't be surprised everything else on me is falling to bits lately , I cant be bothered cooking so I made a bit bowl of fresh coleslaw to go with some tongue I got from Aldi t'other day & very nice it is too. I'm back on the cuppa's now, Even the urology nurse said I need to drink decaf tea instead of original tea but that's a bridge too far
