Thank you for that Richard
I don’t know about Ian, but I know Jeff is partial to sprouts. In fact several years ago, Jeff took me a charity dinner in Essex at a men’s only event called “The Fellows” where the set menu included sprouts! Sprouts are notorious! enough said……. |

Thank you Richard, your a lad I give u that
Good morning all and welcome to the day Yesterday the drivers window in the 4x4 was playing up in not going up and down properly, so I rang up my friendly mechanic and at about 5pm he visited us on his motorcycle with 2 of his mechanic mates on it at the same time. It’s a normal sight in Kenya to see 3 on a motorbike and it’s something the police turn a blind eye to…..it’s Africa The guys brought with them a used window door regulator in good working order and a new rubber door window seal. By 7pm the job was completed and the problem was found to be a perished door rubber and also found was a piece of the door metal was protruding into the window track. That piece had to be hammered back into position. The rubber was replaced. I kept the window regulator as a spare. The parts were £80 and the labour was £20 each to the mechanics. With cups of tea and McVities, everyone was happy Yesterday I walked 3 miles just keeping active and busy around the farm visiting the animals and tending to the garden. Still getting toothache and some post op pain, the post op pain is normal and it’s managed with analgesics, but it’s a warning not to overdo it, so today hopefully I can take things a bit easier and have a less active and slower day, dentist tomorrow. The weather forecast is 28C and dry. What’s everybody up to? Last edited by Gate Keeper; 19th February 2023 at 03:02.. |

Morning everyone.
The rain has gone and we are back to sunshine. The cars need a wash. My neighbour has given me a load of racking, so that needs to be built and then I can get the garage tidied up. Need to get rid of more unwanted car spares. Just keep the basics.

Not had any rain here and looks like it is going to be a mixture of cloud with sunny intervals. Mercury should reach about 13c with moderate winds. Got some gammon to cook for dinner later and might make a crumble as well
