Took the wee car to Polperro today and had a nice walk in the sunshine. Made me feel a whole lot better. Blooming lovely. Home to the smell of chicken in red wine casserole slowly cooking in the slow cooker.

Time to get my xmas prezzie from our daughter out the freezer to defrost some black puddings she got me from a new local pudn & sausage maker that's opened up.

#I'll save the sausages for another day.

Good afternoon everyone,just collected Georgies ashes and bought her back home,just doing that has eased the pain a lot,and also knowing she is back home where she belongs.

Thanks everyone again for all your kind words,the last 6 days have been very hard and very distressing at times,but just having her back home makes all the difference.

Ah, things slowly returning to normal after a houseful at new year. Ging is working dayshift for the next three days so guess who is being lumbered with the cleaning

Went out earlier, I’ll collect my repeat prescription while I’m out. Despite the internet saying the chemist was open it wasn’t

Discovered they’re setting up an automated prescription pickup, it’s like a vending machine. Order a prescription online, they give you a PIN number to enter into the machine and it spits your prescription out, I can see that being a recipe for chaos!
