Thank God only one more early rise to go. Wouldn't be so bad if I could get back to sleep but doze is the best I can hope for.

Dunno what's going on, Nuthatch keeps landing on the feeders, flying across and tapping on the window then back to the feeders. I've had birds do that if the feeders are empty but there's plenty of seeds

99p in Lidl, checked when I was in earlier.

Got a pot of pork adobo simmering away for when Ging gets home, just need to heat rice nearer the time.

Morning all, how is everyone?

I am still in hospital on day 7 post op. Although it’s early days, the surgeons have said the operation was a success and when I was opened up it looked as though the aneurysm was not far off from bursting. Another chance at life.

Yesterday the last of the tubes were removed and I was started on liquid morphine as the pain and getting the right dosage for pain management is being titrated.

Today I am concentrating on getting back on my feet again, not overdoing it - R&R and sorting out the constipation, as it’s been 7 days since the bowels last worked. All in all I am getting better every day, with little improvements.

Thank you for your messages of good wishes and support.

Jessica and I appreciated them a great deal.

Morning Phil, morning all.

So glad that you are making good progress Phil....Onwards and Upwards Sir

This morning Ros and I are off to the Vampire clinic for blood test.
Then it's home and I'll be putting a Beef Brisket joint in the slow cooker for our supper tonight
Singapore Grand Prix and the Manchester Derby to keep me amused on the Telly Box.

Since Sydney passed our Cubby has become a lot more clingy to me, I'm sure he knows that his mate is no longer with us.

Cool

Morning everyone.

It’s tipping it down, and there’s me still in my shorts.

Off to yet another car show this morning in deepest Cornwall. Going with the Coffee and cars club.

Thank you Jeff, do say hello to Ros from Jessica and I. I just had my blood tests, the results will be ready in 2 hours in time for the doctors visiting. Every morning I am on daily bloods and I am tested for Covid and hospital infections.

I am really sorry to hear about Sydney. I know the vet and yourselves did the best for him and Sydney fought the brave fight. It was hard on you being with him at the end, how very kind you did that. Cubby will certainly be more close to you, cats are so knowing.
