Chores done, dog blankets washed, bedding changed, tea cooking, I popped a few miles North today to see Guru's poorly 190, it will be heading this way soon for some repairs.
Rouge brought coffee just as I was finishing defurring the cars interiors, tomorrow ill treat the leather with Gliptone just to put some condition back into it. First Guinness going down a treat....

Two weeks ago a nephew flew out from Amsterdam and after he arrived, he was tested positive, so he self isolated for 5 days. This weekend he has gone up north, he is young and strong. You have to be careful Jeff with your medical history and take extra care until your over this. Yesterday was a success, out shopping for 4 hours. No cardiac symptoms and it was a booster for my self confidence. We had an all in one HP but couldn’t get any more cartridges so bought a Canon with several packs of printer paper and cartridges. Incidentally, Kenya had been getting its pulp from Russia but with sanctions it’s going to have to find the pulp from somewhere else. There could be a shortage for printer paper and toilet paper. No big deal in the scheme of things. 30C forecast…. Hopefully your symptoms are mild and you will feel better soon. |

Thanks Phil,
Not feeling so great this morning after a very sleepless night. I am now running a temperature and going between feeling very hot to very cold. Skin is very sensitive to touch. Cough is less but sore throat and swollen glands in the neck. Also got a headache and muscle aches all over. Other than that......all good I'm keeping myself hydrated and dosed up on paracetamol. Ros has so far tested negative and we are keeping out of each others way as best we can. I have contacted all the people I know that I have seen over the last week, just in case.

What about the cats, how are they? It’s great to hear Ros is okay. When I was in resuscitation, the doctors said how they wished there were more patients like myself who did not leave it to chance. |

Morning all, grey & overcast here with that brisk cold wind we seem to have had for weeks, Some garden furniture blown across the garden overnight.

Morning Ian, I saw on the news for the UK, next month Britain will be basking in 28C. Fake news or something to look forward to. It would be nice for you all to have a break from the miserable weather.

Morning everyone.
I decided to surface, finally. Slept so well last night. It rained in the night but this morning it is sunny. Kippers for breakfast.

No thank you, prefer it cool, can't handle heat like that now.
Ging has me in the kitchen again, this time making something I've never made before, Siopao, those "Chinese" steamed buns with pork in the middle. Dough is sitting on the heater rising just now. Dough gets divided into individual portions, flattened out and closed up around the pork in the middle and steamed. See what they turn out like. |
