Morning Jeff, morning all, how is everyone? 4x4 white smoke on cold start up and engine cutting out after about a minute, oil and coolant not leaking but there is a funny smell to the smoke and brown coloured coolant around radiator cap, so waiting for a flatbed to come tomorrow to take it to the workshop. Mileage is 74,800 Cdi 3.0 19 years old Brother in law says I can borrow his Jeep....thank you sir! Not a great start to the day, trying to think positive. |

Morning everyone.
Grey and overcast this morning. Rained yesterday and last night, very heavily in Devon. Grand night last night with the Southwest Crew. Left the pub and it was chucking it down, but the Bear was sure footed all the way home with a wee Suzuki following us. One of our newest members.

Morning all from an overcast and trying to rain North East.
Quite cool too. Had a lovely couple of days so far, particularly yesterday as we took our Grandson to the beach at Blyth. Some thin cloud but dry and warm. There's nothing like sand in your sandwiches, watching a 19 month old playing in the sand and splashing in the sea and then throwing a ball into the waves for a Quizzie to tirelessly chase after . Completely forgot about the Coastline fish & chip restaurant otherwise we wouldn't have take sandwiches but treated ourselves to a delicious ice cream from Ciccarelli next door Sorting out what we're going to do after lunch - it's tough this grand parenting thing. Take care. |

Finally after 2 years of hard graft I have finally got my gardens done how I wanted them..
My strawberry plants are producing masses of fruit. The friendship rose has over 40 buds on it. The fig tree is producing fruit. I have planted lavender bushes out the front and in the back garden. It’s been a hard slog but it has brought so many happy memories of my Mum, Dad, Big Brother and my Val. They all loved gardening.
