We are staying at a B&B just off the A351 wareham road
How far are we from the meeting point and what time would you reckon we would have to set off to get there as i understand there is a steam rally in the area and the roads may be a little congested Last edited by nick nick; 15th August 2011 at 09:11.. |

The Steam Fair is near to Blandford and won`t have any effect on the Bovington Show. With regards to travel time from your b+b it`s only 10 - 15 mins from Monkey World and both Bovington and Monkey World are sign posted from Wareham. May i make a general suggestion to all? It may be a good idea to meet at Monkey World for 9.15 - 9.30 and aim to be at Bovington no later than 10am.I have shown cars at this event before with the 3 counties car club and the event starts at 10am. If we arrive any later we will struggle to get into the showground due to the volume of traffic from the general public attending and also the Car Boot thats taking place. It`s just a suggestion so feel free to comment. Ray |

From what i remember of Monkey world the car park was a large area made up of loose stone and outside the main entrance . And if its still that way i cant see there being a problem especially at 09.15 in the morning...I dare say you could phone...and find out but you might be tempting fate....Best to just do it. By the time they notice us we will more then likely be on our way |
