Did you check the pics to see how it goes?
It only really fits one way
Also there's an instruction sheet with link with every kit supplied.

Thumbs up

Washed my car yesterday and it rained hard last night.

So this morning I thought it the right time to do my first check on the Plenum drains. (Only got the car 3 weeks ago)

Bone dry! Phew.

Only a few tiny twigs.

By the state of the plugs used to remove the cover, it is clear the previous owner checked them.

Next task will be to buy some Plenum protectors and add the spyhole mod.

Thanks for the tips.

Mmm yes no need to use a screwdriver to remove the clips.
(makes a mess of the plastic work)
Just give the panel a tug upwards and out will pop the clips.

To avoid losing the flying clips either:

Cover the engine bay with a sheet to catch them
Put a line of tape over the clips before pulling the panel

Yup, good tip.

I shall replace the clips in due course.

Default Plenum drains

Guys - first thing I did when I got my car was the spyhole mod for the plenum drain at the bottom of the pollen filter - it's all clear - so is the drain by the passenger side bonnet hinge.

However, having removed the plastic clip-in cover above the servo on the drivers side, I can see lots of leaves and muck underneath the servo - it looks quite inaccessible - is there another plenum drain under the servo I should be cleaning ?

Sorry if this has been covered before !

Hi John
There is one under the servo, which can be cleaned from under the car, but if you have the one clean and free also cut at 45 degree angle and fit Jules plenum guard, all should be ok give it a swill out with an hose or as I say clean from under the car link below cheers Arctic

Default Plenum drains

Thank you for this advise, you've saved me a fortune! Not only was the lower drain full of leaves, once i'd removed those, the hole had filled full of silt and then gone rock hard all the way down the pipe. It was complety blocked. Whilst doing the job I realised where the smell through the heater/aircon was coming from......you can only imagine the state of the pollen filter. Im sure if the car was left outside in the rain id be sourcing a new ECU right now.
I've now got a reasuringly clean drain and new pollen filter.
Guys this is such good advise! Check your Plenum drains, it really only does take 10 minutes., and do watch out for flying scuttle clips, they've got a mind of there own!
