Keep warm & safe all.

PS Couldn't sleep Andy or did Meg fancy an early walk

Morning Andy, Meg was still asleep when I got up, sadly it’s a 12 hr shift at work as no one else fancied it (wonder why?)

Depends whether you want to go to a big hub (on-line), or more local. I went to a big hub yesterday in Northampton, and it was great. No queue, plenty of parking (only about a quarter full), and I was out before I was due to go in. Early arrival was no problem, although I did ask. More marshals in the car park than punters! Checking on line first will show you the available sites in distance order before you have to book, so you do have a good choice. I was happy to drive about 15 miles through the countryside to give the ZT a decent run, and it was a lovely day. No instant side effects, but slightly sluggish this morning - well it is a Saturday.

Probably won't make a lot of difference for you Steve, all my family in Attleborough had to travel to Norwich.. I'd suggest that you go on line and have a look at your options, you don't have to book it there and then plus it's highly likely that your local surgery will call in the next couple of days. Jan got her call on Thursday morning about 3 hours before her letter arrived.

Afternoon all,had a rude awakening this morning at 8.15 from paramedic at my mums. Apparently she had fallen in the flat on her way to the bathroom, she was OK but a bit confused, they said I didn't need to go and would update me when they had completed their assessment. Turns out it's another u t I but thankfully she hasn't had to go to hospital,I have to stay the night with her as she takes blood thinners and because she has had a fall, needs to be supervised in case of any reactions. Stress and hassle I could seriously do without.

Good that she didn't have to go in Rich, hospital is the last place you want to end up just now.

Blood thinners are a real PITA! I'm on them, slightest nick or scratch and I just about need a transfusion, slightest bump results in a bruise.

Same here. Ging asked Alexa what the current weather is, "zero degrees and snow" . . . . its not snowing . . . . minutes later it started snowing! Quite heavy now, fine powdery stuff.
