Evening all, been a nice day here today, got a starter solenoid rebuilt and fitted, was very pleasant, turned chilly this evening when out with the dog!

Typically they day I’m not at work is the best day of the week, Wednesday I am heading up to Scotland with Brian to be there for our Graham.Thursday is supposed to be wet and Friday dry.

Morning everyone.
Storm hit us in the night but now the clouds are parting to let the sun through, hopefully. Bear needs a good clean, and fuel, after our trip out yesterday to the Frimley breakfast meet. 374miles round trip.

Same for us Ian, was a bit scary on the roads this morning, patches of black ice and white ice in places. I went to overtake a car and found the other side of the road to be icy, so took my foot off the throttle and tucked in behind the car. Still bright here, but cold and a bit cloudy. Just having my morning coffee before heading to the next job.

Morning all - eventually had a bit of a lie in after a couple of nights' disturbed sleep. Some time during Friday night/Saturday morning, a very large sheet of heavyweight plastic managed to wrap itself around next door's TV aerial - and then proceeded to make a loud 'slapping' noise in what were some pretty violent winds. Saturday - the winds were even worse, so the neighbour couldn't get anyone out to sort the problem, which was made worse by the plastic being strong enough to twist the aerial so it was pointing in the wrong direction - so elderly widow was left with no TV all weekend.
She managed to get it sorted this morning - just in time for the winds to get up again after a quietish day yesterday.

Afternoon all, the wild & wet weather has arrived so I've been putting the chicken & veg soup into containers to freeze and saved enough for lunchPlus I knocked up a cottage pie for tea

The wild weather is back twice as bad as last night.
Managed to get my shopping before the storm hit, and the Bear filled up. She will have to wait for her wash.

Storm started to make its presence felt her just before 3, so I decided to head home then. Have to go out tonight and price a carpet cleaning job.Tomorrow is supposed to be wild and wet.
