While being ferried home by SWMBO from a wedding doo rather drunk, I was sitting, for the first time, in the passenger seat, I noticed the passenger grab handles are oil dampened like my passat, I was impressed!

I also noticed how comfortable it was being a passenger

I was hugely amused by the speed sensitive wipers the other day, as it was the first time I'd driven it in heavy rain since I got it!

...And I doubt that the novelty factor will ever wear out...

Absolutely stunning car, love her to bits.

Sorry if its covered already, but i have just noticed this....

With the windowscreen wipers on intermittant, if you adjust the speed up of the time in between wipes, the wipers will automatically wipe straght away, but if you slow the duration down they dont.

Sorry but it impressed me and sadly i was messing with it all the way to work

Thought I knew all about my car.

When sunroof is closed and so is the built in sun screen. When you press to tilt open the sunfoof it automatically brings the sunscreen back about 6 inch to allow the air circulation.

Thought i read the user manual from back to front , but just realised if you tap the electric window switches it will completely open the window in one go instead of having to hold the button down . Works on all four windows , so checked the manual and it does indeed tell me that on page 36 . cheers tam .

I didn't realise that the windscreen demister/HRW etc switches give out a little bleep when they are turned on or off.

All the aircon panel switches do it as you have noticed, they can all be switched off from beeping as well...... forgotten how to do it now

I like the way you can have different treble and bass settings on your stereo for each music source (c.d.,tape and radio) Excellent!

Its easy ,just keep a button pressed, hold something else down, put your tongue out to the left, look at the stars....... etc .. and its done .. alledgedly.

This will turn the bleep on or off... and yes ive forgotten too . But what fun you can have finding which buttons to press.
