Evening all, absolutely knackered tonight, been to register my aunt’s death today, then been to her bank and building society to close the accounts, had the meeting with the funeral director, and been on the phone to rest of the family since then. Tomorrow I am getting my caravan back, now the body repairs have been completed, after it is returned to the storage place, I will have to go back to auntie’s house to get the insurance documentation for the car and inform them of her passing. I suspect I may have to register the car in my name, as otherwise the car will be on the database as no current keeper.

Good morning all, how is everyone? Yesterday, I had the mechanic visit the 4x4 to replace the belts. What a shocking state they were in when they came out. The alternator belt was cracked and split in places. My own fault as the belts have not been changed in the 10 years I have owned the car. The belts were £50 and labour was £15

Morning Phil, well the labour charges are cheap. At least you have peace of mind for the next 10 years.

Morning everyone.
Fun today as we are having the power turned off. There was a power cut last Monday and now it seems they need to cut the power to my side of the road to repair the fault. The engineers turned up yesterday and dug the hole. I was notified by letter about this so at least it will not come as a shock. So off into Plymouth by bus today, need to go to the bank plus visit a shop in the Barbican to buy the Poppy bowl I saw last Thursday. Made room on the bookcase for it. And it’s raining.
